Nicole and Tyler got married in November with their wedding day starting at Hotel Icon in Downtown Houston Texas. One of my favorite places to start a wedding day, it has so much to offer wedding photographers!
I made my way up to the Penthouse, where I found the normal bridal chaos. Girls, snacks, makeup, hair, champagne, music, gifts – what else did I forget? With a little sisterly help, Nicole transformed into the bride beautifully. Quick show off to the girls, then off to Tyler for their private first look.
She was in the lobby of Hotel Icon when Tyler came in. One of my favorite parts of any wedding day, so sweet. After the tears and a little romantic dancing, we went all over Hotel Icon for their couple shots. We met the entire wedding party back at the bar for some group pics then it was off to Avant Garden, on Westheimer, for the ceremony.
Mariana at Avant Garden had everything ready when we arrived! We had a little bit of time for some quick shots before the ceremony started. And what a lovely ceremony it was! #saycheeseforgina
Victoria married John Paul in The Magnolia Hotel, located in beautiful downtown Houston. The wedding party took time to enjoy the getting ready process with family & friends, always a good thing to do. Why hurry, take in the day and the MIMOSAs!
The beautiful bouquet was personally delivered by the creator, Jamie McPherson with JDesigns, as she always does. After Victoria and John Paul said ‘I Do’ everyone made their way to Midtown’s Nouveau Antique Art Bar. I love the atmosphere this place offers wedding receptions. There is a lot to take in at this venue, every kind of Tiffany style lamp you can imagine. The party was kicked off with the wedding party’s grand entrance and the DJ with J & A Entertainment rocked the dance floor all evening. And boy did he rock it, the wedding party stayed on the dance floor right up until the sparkler exit. Another beautiful wedding day in the books. Congrats to Victoria & JP!
This past October, Shannon and David said, “I Do” at Clay’s Restaurant in Houston, and it was just beautiful. https://www.claysrestaurant.com/ I arrived at Clay’s Restaurant and it was being converted into Clay’s Wedding Venue – very rustic & charming! The bridal suite was bridal chaos with snacks, dresses, curling irons, shoes, makeup, mimosas – the typical bridal chaos I find in my line of work. But the dress – oh the dress, always the favorite part of my workday. It was the perfect choice for Shannon, a touch of sweetness, and fun. With mom & the bridal crew Shannon began to transform into the bride, and it was all giggles and tears. (plus empty champagne & orange juice bottles)
Take a peek at just a little of Shannon & David’s wedding day in the following images I snapped, and it was my pleasure to have been chosen to capture their story! Another beautiful wedding day, with great food, great friends and great family.
It was a rainy day wedding at Moffitt Oaks, but the smiles were still abundant! The team at this beautiful venue in Tomball, TX were on hand to take care of last-minute weather challenges – all seamlessly done! Morgan & Alex said their vows in the beautiful barn surrounded by family & friends. Matt Crowder from JPL Entertainment rocked the house, and this wedding crowd ROCKED the dancefloor! Donuts were handed out right before everyone saw the couple off with a Sparkler exit.
The rain stopped and the sun came out for a wedding at Haak Vineyards & Winery, located in Santa Fe, TX. It was hot, but oh so beautiful! The Officiant, Richard Conner of The Lasker Inn led us in a wonderful ceremony that had laughter and happy tears! The couple kissed as husband & wife, and the party started! From the heart & tear filled toasts to the serious dancing happening on the dance floor – the night was full. Love, friends, family and one beautifully happy couple that everyone was there to celebrate. Roberta & Alexis – congrats! And Alexis, we thank you for your service to this great country, sir! And we also forgive you for your Yankee’s cake!!!
